Jo Beer has been involved in the food and nutrition industry for over 25 years and gained an honours degree in Nutritional Sciences in the UK (Southampton University) specialising in nutrition and the immune system. She continued her studies in WA where she completed a further dietetics degree and a post graduate diabetes course (Curtin University), as well as specialist renal dietetics course (Royal Adelaide Hospital). In 2018 Jo completed her Sports Nutrition course at the AIS in Canberra and now combines her passion for exercise with dietetics.
Jo is passionate about empowering people to get healthy and live life to its fullest by coaching and educating them through a series of personal, group and corporate programs. Working closely with her medical husband Dr Trevor Beer, Jo brings the latest scientifically proven nutritional medicine to her clients to enable them to gain optimum health and divides her time between her private clients at her Nedlands clinic and with patients at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospital.
Jo regularly contributes to local media such as The West and Medical Forum.
Dr Trevor Beer MBChB, MRCPath, FRCPA
Trevor qualified in medicine in 1986 and has maintained a keen interest in the effects of nutrition and exercise on health. He has published more than 90 articles in medical journals and advises on Revitalise programs and clinical updates using the latest thoroughly researched scientific data.
Trevor heads the research at Revitalise, maintaining an up to date database of medical and nutritional information. He also advises on disease management, pharmaceutical interactions and media liaison.
Trevor fully embraces the Revitalise philosophy by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and meditating regularly. He regularly exercises and has taken part in many sporting events including the city to surf, Perth Marathon and a solo crossing in the Rottnest swim.
